Privacy Policy
Effective date: July 17, 2026
PDF Signery does one thing — signs PDFs — and it is built so that your data never leaves your Mac. This page is short because there is very little to say: the app collects nothing.
What the app collects
Nothing. No accounts, no sign-ins, no analytics, no tracking, no advertising identifiers, no crash-reporting SDKs. The app contains no network code at all, so it cannot transmit anything even in principle.
Your documents
PDFs you open are read and written locally, only where you choose — the original file when you save, or a copy you pick when you export. They are never uploaded, synced, or shared by the app.
Your signatures
Signature images you draw, import, or capture are stored on your Mac in
~/Library/Application Support/PDF Signery. They stay there. Photos, scans,
and sketches captured from your iPhone or iPad travel directly between your devices via
Apple's Continuity Camera system — the app adds no server of its own to that path.
Recent documents
The list of recent files shown on the app's home screen is stored locally on your Mac and can be cleared at any time with the Clear List button in the app.
Third parties
The app embeds no third-party SDKs and talks to no third-party services. Because nothing is collected, nothing is sold, shared, or disclosed to anyone.
Children's privacy
The app collects no personal information from anyone, including children under 13.
Changes to this policy
If this policy ever changes, the updated version will be posted at this URL with a new effective date. Given the app's design, the substance is unlikely to change.
