By downloading, installing, or using PDF Signery ("the app"), you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the app.

License

We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to install and use the app on Apple-branded computers that you own or control, in accordance with the App Store's usage rules. You may not copy, modify, redistribute, sell, or reverse-engineer the app except as permitted by applicable law.

What the app does — and does not do

PDF Signery places a visual representation of your signature into a PDF and flattens it permanently into the page content. It does not create cryptographic digital signatures, qualified electronic signatures, certificates, timestamps, or identity verification of any kind.

Your responsibility

• You decide which documents to sign, and you are responsible for having the right and authority to sign them.
• The legal enforceability of electronically signed documents varies by jurisdiction (for example eIDAS in the EU, or ESIGN and UETA in the US). Whether a visual signature satisfies your legal, contractual, or regulatory requirements is for you — or your lawyer — to determine.
• The app saves files where you tell it to. Keep your own backups of important documents.

Intellectual property

The app, its icon, and its branding remain our property. Your documents and your signature images remain yours — the app claims no rights over them.

Warranty

The app is provided "as is", without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages — including lost data, lost profits, or documents signed in error — arising from the use of the app. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid for the app.

Changes

We may update these terms from time to time. The current version is always available at this URL, and continued use of the app after a change means you accept the new terms.
